Refresh Your Morning Routine with a Vibrant Green Juice

The heart of a great morning routine lies a burst of freshness and vitality. Imagine starting your day with a rejuvenating elixir that not only awakens your senses but also nurtures your body. Here’s a simple and invigorating morning green juice recipe that will elevate your mornings to a whole new level of health and wellness. After a few mornings, your skin will glow in a whole new way.

Creating this everyday green juice is a breeze, and the best part is, you don't need to worry about precise ratios. The quantities can vary based on the size of the ingredients and your personal taste preferences.

Gather Your Ingredients:

Romaine, kale, celery, cucumber, ginger, green apple, and a lemon with peel.

Prepare Your Juicer

Set up your juicer and make sure it's ready to transform these vibrant ingredients into a nutrient-packed elixir.

Juicing Process

Feed the ingredients through the juicer, allowing the machine to work its magic. The result? A vibrant green juice that captures the essence of these healthful components.

Pour and Enjoy

Fill a glass with 12 to 16 ounces of your freshly squeezed green juice. The aroma alone is enough to invigorate your senses.

Optional Indulgence

For an extra touch of indulgence and added health benefits, consider sprinkling a spoonful of local bee pollen into your green elixir. This not only enhances the flavor but also introduces a myriad of nutrients.

Adjusting the Lemon:

Please note that the lemon quantity can be adjusted based on your taste preferences and the tartness of the green apple. For a smaller batch of 12 to 16 ounces, consider using a quarter or half a lemon with the peel for that perfect balance of flavors.

Timing Matters

Always enjoy your morning green juice on an empty stomach to maximize its cleansing and revitalizing effects.

Reasons to drink green juice + how to get the most from it

  • GJ delivers nutrients to the body without needing to digest anything.

  • We typically use 80% of our energies to digest food and when that is freed up the body immediately begins to work on itself anywhere it's needed most.

  • GJ rehydrates old dried matter in the digestive tract for exit from the body.

  • It cleans the blood that nourishes our precious glands, organs, and tissues.

  • It is mineral-rich and more hydrating than water as it is the blood of the plant.

  • GJ is negative in charge while acidic substances in the body are positive in charge so it actually magnetizes toxins to flush from the system

  • GJ should always be ingested on an empty stomach & always earlier in the day before anything heavy.

  • Because digestion takes place in order of what was eaten first, it is best to ingest lighter foods first. For example fruit takes about 30 minutes to digest while meat requires about 4 hours. If you eat fruit after the meat, it will have to wait until the meat is done digesting first, it can't bypass the earlier meal, so it ends up sitting and fermenting in the stomach as it waits for the meat. This ends up feeding bacteria and unwanted guests in the body.

  • GJ should not be made with fruit. The exception is green apple-just enough to add a bit of sweetness (If you were doing a juice fast you would start adding in fruit to the recipe about 3 days in to the fast for the brain)

Embark on a journey of wellness each morning with this simple yet powerful green juice. Tailor the ingredients to your liking, savor the freshness, and relish in the revitalizing effects. Cheers to a vibrant and nourishing start to your day!
